A further 19 samples are scheduled to be accepted before the end of the year.

Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said:

The army used to accept 1-2 UAV samples per year for operation. For comparison, in the last 30 days the AFU has accepted 7 Ukrainian-made UAV samples for operation.

Thanks to the coordinated work of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Digital, as well as the simplified procedure for admitting samples, the process has gone much faster.

Reznikov added:

To simplify interaction with manufacturers, a website has been set up where every developer with a finished product can apply to the Ministry of Defence for admission of their product. Official admission means that the Ministry of Defence can purchase the products and the AFU can put them on staff.

The main selection criterion is tactical and technical characteristics that cover the army's needs.
