- Kherson OVA says how many homes already flooded after Kakhovka hydro-electric power plant blow-up

As of this morning, 1,852 houses on the right bank of the Kherson region were flooded.
The chairman of the Kherson regional state administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said this on Telegram.
According to Prokudin, 1,852 houses in right-bank Kherson region have already been flooded since the Kakhovka hydropower plant was blown up in the morning.
During the night, no emergency events were recorded. The intensity of flooding is decreasing. However, due to the significant destruction of the dam, the water will still arrive. According to our forecasts the water level will increase by another meter over the next 20 hours. The Bilozero community, which was not reached yesterday, started flooding last night.
In addition, 1 thousand 457 people have already been evacuated. Also overnight, 13 people sought help, including five residents of the left bank.
