The government has established a mechanism for the use of funds allocated for monthly compensation payments to non-working Ukrainians who care for a person with a group I disability, as well as for a person who has reached the age of 80.

This was announced in a telegram by Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers at the Verkhovna Rada.

Changes have been made to the procedure for the use of state budget funds to ensure social protection of citizens who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. The procedure has been supplemented with a provision that provides for the allocation of budget funds for the payment of monthly compensation payment to an unemployed able-bodied person caring for a person with a group I disability, as well as for a person who has reached the age of 80, in accordance with the resolution of the CMU from 20.03.2019 No 23 Some issues of state assistance to certain categories of citizens," the message reads.
