The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the former chairman of the Constitutional Court Alexander Tupitsky.

DBR reports .

The Podolsky District Court of Kyiv chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention against the former chairman of the Constitutional Court. By the same court ruling, the amount of bail previously applied to the accused was turned into state revenue, the report says.

The DBR also clarified that on May 27, Alexander Tupitsky was put on the international wanted list.

This court decision allows the prosecution to petition the court for the extradition (extradition) of the accused in Ukraine.

Recall that Alexander Tupitsky is accused of deliberately false testimony, combined with the artificial creation of evidence for the defense and bribing a witness in order to provide knowingly false testimony.
