Now it's official - the General Staff has confirmed the liberation of Avdiivka

This is reported in the report of the AFU General Staff.

Ukrainian soldiers are conducting offensive operations south of the town of Bakhmut, had partial success in the area of Klischeyevka. On the morning of 15 September, the official repeated the information from the General Staff and noted:

It was difficult and the situation changed very dynamically several times during yesterday.

For reference: Andreevka is a settlement south of Kleshcheevka, south of Bakhmut. The Bakhmut area remains one of the areas where the AFU is conducting active offensives in eastern Ukraine.

Avdeevka is one of the key settlements south of Bakhmut for cutting the Russians' logistics (communication with Gorlovka) and encircling the city. Heavy fighting over the village has been going on for many months, and back in July the AFU reported that they were close to liberating it.

on 25 July, a representative of the eastern group of the AFU troops, Serhiy Cherevatyy, said that the possible liberation of the village would improve the tactical position of the Ukrainian forces and allow them to encircle or drive the Russians out of Bakhmut.

Also, the General Staff reported that on the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked in the areas of Lastochkino and Avdiivka in Donetsk region, as well as on Maryinka. During the day, Ukrainian aviation carried out ten strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

The Russian losses from 24.02.22 to 15.09.23 are estimated at about 271440 personnel.
