- Symbol of "Russian culture": Russians set up a festive Christmas tree near the Drama Theatre

Russians have installed a 14-metre Christmas tree at the site of the mass murder of Mariupol residents.
This is written by the Mariupol local council in Telegram.
Russians have set up the city's main Christmas tree near the Drama Theatre for the first time during the occupation of Mariupol. This is timed in particular to the opening of the "theatre season", which was announced by the occupants. It took more than three years to restore the Drama Theatre after the Russian attacks, writes Rada.
First, the Russians enclosed the premises [of the Drama Theatre] with a high fence in order to eliminate traces of their crime behind it and hide the number of Mariupol residents killed. Then they started 'repair works' to rewrite history and turn the theatre from a place of mass murder into a symbol of 'restoration' and 'Russian culture', " the Mariupol local Rada wrote.
According to Rada, the theatre is currently undergoing internal repair work. Also near the theatre will appear large broadcast screens. It is assumed that they will broadcast congratulations to the bloody dictator on New Year's Eve.
However, local Mariupol residents remember the truth. For them it is not a Christmas tree, but a 14-metre candle of memory - stresses Mariupol local Rada.
Representatives of the Rada remind that on 16 March 2022 the Russians dropped two powerful bombs on the building of Mariupol Drama Theatre, where civilians were hiding from Russian shelling. The invaders were not stopped by the large inscription "CHILDREN", which Mariupol residents made in front of the building to be visible from the sky. As a result, hundreds of people were killed, among them families with children. The photos went viral around the world, becoming a symbol of war and exposing the true nature of the so-called "Russian peace".
