Assistance will include helping Ukrainian energy workers to purchase energy sources and spare parts, participating in the repair of rail fastening systems (for transporting heavy loads such as grain), and providing humanitarian support.

This is stated on the website of the Swiss government.

Assistance will include helping Ukrainian energy workers to purchase energy sources and spare parts, participating in the repair of rail fastening systems (for transporting heavy loads such as grain), and providing humanitarian support.

Switzerland is also looking for ways to supply Ukraine with additional types of assistance: generators, pumps or water treatment plants.

In addition, the Federal Council will submit a request to Parliament for an additional 76 million Swiss francs to cover these costs.

It is worth recalling that earlier it became known that 12 countries expressed a desire to help Ukraine restore its energy infrastructure as a result of Russian shelling. The list includes Israel, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Germany, North Macedonia, Poland, Republic of Korea, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland and France.
