Russia likely wants to build a new "bridge" of barges near Kherson

According to scouts, Russia has probably begun the transfer of barges. They suggest that the occupiers are planning to build a floating "bridge" of them from barges directly near the damaged Antonovsky bridge - a critical facility for communication between the Russian military in Kherson and on the eastern coast.

The British estimate that if the Russian Federation can complete the makeshift bridge, its capacity will almost certainly be higher than the capacity of the ferry service, which the Russian military and the local population have used in recent weeks.

At the same time, scouts believe that the floating "bridge" will probably still be vulnerable to the Ukrainian military.
