Weapon simulators will be available on weekends and the drone simulator on Saturdays. You will be able to try "flying" and "shooting" with VR-glasses on them.

On Armourer's Day, 13 April, the National Military History Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv opened the exhibition "A Nation of Armourers". It presents samples of weapons from the most ancient to modern ones. This is reported by the Ministry of Strategic Industries.

The exhibition shows that Ukraine has been able to manufacture weapons and military equipment since ancient times. The exposition presents a retrospective of Ukrainian armament, both in general and on individual examples," the ministry said.

The oldest exhibit is represented by a set of weapons and equipment from the burial of a Scythian warrior of the V century BC.

Modern weapons and equipment are represented by drones of different types, models of armoured vehicles, a line of ammunition of various calibres, a turret, a full-size mock-up of the Magura water drone, simulators for training servicemen on drones, heavy small arms, air defence.

Our task was to show that Ukrainians have always been able to manufacture weapons. Because we have always had to defend our country with weapons in our hands. Our soldiers continue to do it today. Visitors can literally touch the weapons and equipment that protects their lives right now. And also to try themselves in the role of a military man - to try to shoot down an enemy "shahed", to be an operator of fpv-drone or "shoot" with the help of simulators, - said acting director of the museum Yuri Koshel.

The exhibition will last until 13 May. The simulators will be available to visitors on weekends, and the drone simulator - on Saturdays. On them it will be possible to try to "fly", "shoot" in VR-glasses under the guidance of instructors and museum staff.
