Ministry of Social Policy: Each IDP will receive social services at the place of their actual residence

The system makes it possible to centralize the appointment, accrual, and payment of IDPs, which will significantly speed up the receipt of assistance and the solution of problematic issues of IDPs—the Government portal reports this.

Social security authorities will provide services regardless of the address indicated in the person's documents. For example, when a person moves from the city of Kharkiv, receives an IDP certificate in Lviv, and then proceeds to Ternopil, he can resolve all issues at the actual place of stay. In the context of a full-scale war, we must protect our people as much as possible and simplify the provision of services for them,” said Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

Thus, internally displaced persons in any regional department of social protection will be able to:

• quickly change an irrelevant place of residence in the IDP certificate;
• correct erroneous data in the application for an IDP certificate;
• find out and eliminate the cause of the residence delay.
