As of this morning, 13 people were injured in Kyiv and four people were killed. The total number of injured across Ukraine is at least 40 people, among them several children. One of the injured is a 90-year-old man.

As a result of the rocket shelling in Kyiv Region, 31 people were injured, three of them children. The most affected districts were Buchanskyi and Bilotserkivskyi, where work is currently ongoing to eliminate the consequences of the strike.

The consequences for Kyiv were particularly severe: in Solomenskyi district the wreckage hit a residential house and a fire broke out. The body of a 12-year-old girl was found under the rubble. In the Institute of Cardiology, also affected by the impact, two more people died.

The total list of destruction covers residential houses, schools, shops, petrol stations, enterprises and civil infrastructure in Goloseevsky, Darnitsky, Dniprovsky, Svyatoshinsky, Solomensky and Obolonsky districts of the capital.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack lasted more than 12 hours:

"Russia is deliberately terrorising Ukrainian cities. In one night - almost 500 attack drones and more than 40 missiles, including Kinzhals. In the morning, Iranian Shahed drones appeared in our skies again".

Zaporizhzhya was hit separately.

A bakery, a car factory, private houses and apartment buildings came under fire. According to the latest data, a total of 27 people were injured, among them three children aged 9, 11 and 12. One boy is in serious condition with mine blast trauma, the other with carbon monoxide poisoning.

The girl's condition is assessed as medium severity. All the injured are receiving the necessary medical care.

President Zelensky also noted that the attack occurred shortly after the week of the UN General Assembly, which he said was further evidence of Russia's unwillingness to make peace:

"Moscow continues to kill and demands the toughest pressure from the world. We will deprive the Kremlin of sources of funding, retaliate and pursue diplomacy."

The president called on international partners - the US, EU, G7 and G20 - to take decisive action, including a complete halt to Russian imports:

"The time to act is long overdue. Everyone who wants peace should support efforts to end this war."
