How to apply for financial assistance to internally displaced persons


All citizens of Ukraine who, due to Russia's military aggression and hostilities on the territory of the country, were forced to become migrants, can receive assistance from the state.
How to apply for material assistance to internally displaced persons due to Russian aggression, where to apply for it and what documents are needed, RBC-Ukraine journalists told .
The article notes that internally displaced persons have the right to apply for material assistance - 3,000 hryvnias for each child or person with a disability, all others can receive 2,000 hryvnias.
How to get financial assistance
- Register as an IDP (internally displaced person)
- Submit an application: in person at the social protection authorities, authorized by the community, at the TsNAP. Or remotely - through the software of the Portal Diya (work is currently underway, tentatively until the end of March).
- Obtain an IDP registration certificate.
- Apply for help. Personally - in the bodies of social protection, authorized by the communities, through the TsNAP. Remotely - through the Diya Portal (will be available at the end of March).
- Receive payments to your personal account.
Important nuances:
Financial assistance is indicated on the bank account (according to the IBAN standard), which is indicated in the application.
Assistance will be paid monthly from the moment of application and throughout the martial law, plus one month after its termination or cancellation.
Anyone who manages to submit documents before April 15 will automatically receive assistance for March.
This assistance is not included in the total family income when receiving other types of social assistance and is not subject to personal income tax.
Help with work
All employers who will officially hire internally displaced persons in Ukraine will be reimbursed by the state in the amount of 6,500 hryvnias for each employee. These funds will be used to pay salaries.
Housing
All Ukrainians who hosted internally displaced persons, the state will reimburse 450 hryvnia per month for each person. These funds will be used to pay utility bills.
To receive these funds, the homeowner must apply to the local government with a relevant application.
Compensation is 14.77 hryvnia per day per person. Therefore, compensation can be obtained even if the internally displaced persons lived for a week or several days.
e-Pidtrimka in the amount of 6500 hryvnia
Another type of assistance can be received within the framework of the e-Pidtrimka program in the amount of UAH 6,500.
Residents of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zhytomyr, Odessa, Volyn, Kiev regions and residents of Kyiv can receive such assistance.
Who can get:
- employees for whom the employer has submitted reports for the fourth quarter of 2021 or for 2021 as a whole, except for employees of budgetary institutions, compulsory state insurance funds and the public service;
- operating individuals entrepreneurs of groups 1-4 who submitted reports for the IV quarter of 2021 or for the whole year.
That is, citizens who worked / work unofficially will not be able to receive financial assistance yet.
