"It's impossible to live with it" - relatives of pregnant woman who lost three children and her husband in a Russian drone strike

Pregnant Olga Kryvohub, who was injured in the Russian strike on Bohodukhiv on 10 February, went to bed in another room on the evening of the attack separately from her husband and three children, who were killed in the strike.

This was told to Suspilnymi by the sister of the victim Alexandra Brazhnik.

In this house died our son-in-law. He served, was left without a leg. Three children died - they are our nephews. Miroslava was one year old on the first of January, two boys - Vanya and Vladik - they were two years old each. It is impossible to live with this. We don't know how we will cope," Alexandra says.

According to her, her pregnant sister was thrown onto the roof of another house.

She said she woke up on the roof. Her husband and children lay down in one room. She says, "There was no room, I'll go to the other room." She fell asleep in the second room. She woke up and said, "I don't know how I got up on the roof. She wanted to climb up to the children, but the neighbour wouldn't let her go up there. It's a miracle she's alive. Miraculously. She's sedated now, she's in a very difficult state emotionally. She's 35 weeks pregnant. She's about to give birth. The baby is fine," said Alexandra Brazhnik.

The name of the 34-year-old father of the family, a demobilised military man, who died as a result of the Bogodukhov strike is Grigory Shikula. Together with his wife Olga Krivogub they are from Zolochevska community, the military administration said.

Olga Krivogub told reporters:

I haven't woken up yet, to be honest. I think this is not happening to me.

The family moved into the house in Bogodukhov on 9 February, said the brother of the deceased Grigory Shikula, Ivan: "Closer to the hospital, because my wife is pregnant."

According to him, Grigory was in the war for about a year. He fought on the Kupyansk direction and in the Zaporozhye region, where he lost a leg.
