Fitzo takes an anti-Ukrainian stance and repeats the Kremlin's narrative.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo said that he would veto the European Union's financial aid to Ukraine and would never support Ukraine's membership in NATO because, in Fitzo's opinion, it would lead to World War III. In addition, he promised to prevent Slovak troops from entering Ukraine in order to "turn the guns against the Russian Federation." Fitzo published his new statement on Ukraine in the social network Facebook.

Fitzo made it clear that in this way he was "avenging" Kiev for stopping the transit of Russian gas to Europe from 1 January 2025.

Robert Fitzo is a Slovak prime minister, not a Ukrainian servant," he explained his position.

Fitzo further criticised the activities of opposition MPs from the Progressive Slovakia party in "kissing the ring" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky." He also did not like the fact that the opposition MPs promised to support Ukraine on its path to NATO. In the opinion of the head of the Slovak government, the opposition representatives have no authority to conduct such negotiations, while he called his opponents "pro-Ukrainian and anti-Slovak opposition".

I have absolutely no problem with the fact that the delegation of Progressive Slovakia went to Kiev. When you have no authority or responsibilities, you can negotiate on a space station on Mars," he said.

At the same time, he said that the opposition in Slovakia was preparing a Maidan for him and wanted to deprive him of power and promised to "be ready for it".
