On Friday, 6 October, a joint convoy of the non-profit organisations Free Ukraine (Vaba Ukraina) and Aid for Ukraine (Ukraina Abi) came under Russian missile attack in Ukraine.
Estonian volunteers were not injured. This is reported by ERR.EE.
This morning our joint convoy with Ukraina Abi came under a missile attack. According to the guys, the Iskander fell about 20 metres away from them. All vehicles were destroyed, fortunately, the guys miraculously remained alive and healthy, - reported in the organisation "Free Ukraine".
Two small children were reportedly killed in a neighbouring house during the impact.
Lennart Bergström, a representative of Aid for Ukraine, said that his personal bus and vehicles of the International Legion were damaged.
"Free Ukraine" is a charitable organisation established in 2014 that supports Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
