All Russian shahedin were shot down at night while still on the approach to Kyiv

In the evening of 19 December, during an attack by Russian drones, the air defence system hit them on their approach to Kyiv. This was reported by the head of the Kiev city military administration, Serhiy Popko.

This was the fifth air attack on Kyiv in December. And the second consecutive drone attack.

UAVs, according to preliminary information, of the Shahed type, came to the capital from the southern direction, from the Black Sea, flying over Odessa, Kirovograd and Cherkassy regions, - said Serhiy Popko.

The air defence forces defeated all the enemy drones on their approach to Kyiv.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage in the capital.
