According to Russian law-enforcement agencies, the wheelchair race of people with disabilities was an unauthorised rally. The organiser, a Kremlin supporter, is deported to Ukraine.
A Ukrainian citizen who is a supporter of the Kremlin has organised a drive-in for wheelchair users, for which he will be deported to Ukraine. This is reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.
A court in Russia's Volgograd region found Ukrainian citizen Alexander Gongadze guilty of "violation of legislation on rallies and migration law."
Gongadze organised a wheelchair rally of people with disabilities to draw the attention of the authorities to the poor condition of roads and the lack of an accessible environment for these people.
According to the version of the Russian law enforcement agencies, the rally was an uncoordinated rally with the authorities. The court imposed nine days of arrest on Gongadze.
On the day of his release, he was detained again on charges of violating migration laws and illegal stay in Russia for seven years.
For this, the court imposed a fine of 2,100 rubles on Alexander Gongadze and decided to deport him to Ukraine.
According to Gongadze's lawyer, the activist financially helped the Russian army and transferred "to the needs of the "SVO" 100 thousand rubles.
If he is deported to Ukraine, he may be harmed there for his pro-Russian views," the lawyer said.
