During a festival in Spain, strong winds caused the stage to collapse onto dancing people.



At around 4:00 am, a sandstorm broke out, with thousands of people running and trying to hide from the strong wind and flying objects such as the railings and the main entrance sign. It is reported by ABC España .

The Valencian government reports one dead and 40 injured.

According to the State Meteorological Agency, hot winds were observed on Saturday morning with very strong gusts and sharp temperature rises. In the city of Cullera, the temperature rose from 29 to 38 degrees in a few minutes, and the relative humidity fell below 18%, writes ABC España.

At the moment, the activities of the music festival are temporarily suspended.

The Medusa Festival, during which the tragedy occurred, is considered the most numerous musical event in Spain.
